A payment gateway is a mechanism that communicates transaction information between the customer and the merchant. Payment gateways enable the capability for credit card and digital payment processing. Online payment gateways are cloud-based software while in person retail gateway’s are often included in POS systems.
evexus has a suite of tools to manage the end to end abstract submission process from collection, review, management and publishing. Our abstract solution has been used around the globe for some of the largest conferences to local national events .
We support up to 17 different languages via the multi language module.
Yes you can set different permissions for your users to access different features of the platform via your Super Admin.
Support
Payment gateway fees depend on the provider. Each payment gateway sets its own pricing, and fee structures vary. evexus will charge a connection fee to ensure you have a secure connection to your provider plus run transaction tests.
We can offer onsite support including registration support, technical support and production support through our partners . Simply access your success manager to discuss what your requirements are.
Support can be purchased through your evexus platform in 20 hour blocks depending on what you require one of our success specialists can help provide advice on what would be most suitable.
You have few options to log support. You can simply email us at support@evexus.com or log a ticket through our support page on our website. You also have access to our knowledge base which comes with a multitude of articles on how to manage your evexus platform.
Yes we can integrate with Onsite check in solutions or provide our own onsite check in kiosks that can be fully branded to your event
Technology
There are three types of payment gateways:
- Hosted: The payment gateway takes customers off your site to the payment gateway page. Once payment has been made, the gateway redirects them back to your site to the appropriate step in the checkout process. Hosted payment gateways are also called redirect payment gateways.
- Self-hosted: Merchants collect payment information from customers on their site and send that data to the third-party payment gateway in the backend. The payment processing happens off-site.
- Non-hosted: Merchant both collects and processes the payment on-site. Typically utilized by larger enterprises, as it requires a lot of technicality and maintenance.

There is minimal training required as our platform has been designed to get you up and running with ease.
